Dallas, Texas
Born and raised on the island of Tortola, British Virgin Islands, Roma Osowo has been a professional abstract artist with work exhibited and sold throughout the US and internationally. Roma received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico and worked in Marketing Management before eventually transitioning to staying at home with her kids to homeschool them. After a twelve year hiatus from painting, Roma returned to her brushes in January of 2017 and a true fire was sparked within her to pursue her first love, which was painting.
Roma’s work exists between her love and use of the rich and vibrant colors represented in her West Indian heritage, and the expression of joy she aspires to evoke, as a result of her deeply rooted Christian faith. Roma now lives and creates from her studio in the suburbs of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.
