Angie has been honing and seeking her voice as an artist since she was a little girl. Being an artist has always been who she is at her core. Angie was born and raised in a small mountain valley town in Western North Carolina. Growing up, her mother recognized Angie's passion for creating and helped explore her artistic curiosity. She spent countless hours drawing and painting the views from outside my childhood window. Now she creates art using bold colors, creating abstract works that represent her molecular biology and mechanisms.

Her current series, The Molecular Series, has been a long evolution of style, surface, and intuitive color theory. Angie is not only inspired by the undiscovered science that keeps us all living but also her own awareness of herself. Each work is a diary entry of an event or feeling she is experiencing, brought to life with vibrancy and movement. The Floras paintings are an ode to her mother and her own middle name, Rose.
