Founder and creative director of A Beautiful Mess, Elsie Larson has curated a collection of her top picks from the gallery. We were internet friends turned real friends when Elsie joined us on our Strasbourg Creative Retreat last year. She has a gorgeous eye, is a creative herself, and we’re so excited to collaborate with her.

About Elsie Larson

As the Creative Director, Elsie determines the vision for the A Beautiful Mess brand. In addition to website and social media content, she has also overseen numerous projects over the years, including a clothing line, a fabric line, a beauty product line, monthly stationery kits, three nonfiction books, interior decor for personal homes (as well as multiple STR properties) and much more. Elsie is also one of the hosts of the A Beautiful Mess Podcast. In addition to being an entrepreneur, Elsie is also a wife and mother of two adopted daughters.

Recently I started collecting art and it has been so much fun to curate my own collection. I am drawn to pieces that are unique, sometimes moody, and I love pieces with a vintage touch. In my own home I have a Paige Barnes Dorsey snake and Hunt Slonem butterflies that I found through Liz Lidgett Gallery. I love that the gallery represents a diverse group of artists and is heavily focused on women.
