A little about my process: I start by cutting shapes out of homemade collage paper and arranging them on black paper, then I use an exacto to cut around the whole image. Last, I glue the image onto white paper that I painted a background with watercolor. The overall effect is something like paper stained glass. They're very fun to make because I'm not sure what the end result will be.
