Leatherology x Liz Lidgett Gallery Collaboration
Leatherology invited us to team-up on an exclusive line of hand-painted leather tote bags. We asked six of our artists (Kevin Brent Morris, Bekah Worley, Angela Chrusciaki Blehm, Sarah Schwartz, Jenna Brownlee, Roma Osowo) to create and paint their most known-and-beloved designs on this collection. Each piece truly represents each artist's style you'd normally see on stretched canvas.
On Thursday, October 3rd, we hosted a dinner in celebration of this organic collaboration. Now I want every leather bag of mine to be personalized! Being introduced to Leatherology, their beautiful collection and incredible leadership has been a true joy. They’re based in Texas but (of course) there’s a Des Moines tie—and I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate. The hand-painted bags sold out in minutes and the celebration dinner was memorable. Heavenly plates by DooLittle Farm (thank you Aaron!), exquisite wine from Wolffer Estate Vineyard and a table full of local women creatives, interior designers, BH&G editors, influencers and more. It was a dream come true, and I'm still riding the high. What will our next gallery collaboration be?
