Dream clients: pop artist edition

We have way too much fun pairing artwork with our “dream clients”—clients, if they were to call us up today, that we already have a piece in mind that reflects their personality and brand. We’re thinking art day-and-night, so whether it’s while flipping through a magazine, watching the news or listening to our favorite songs, we’re pairing art with the world around us.

Beyoncé + Fares Micue

Lucid Dream (1/20), Photograph, 19.70 x 19.70 in, $580, Available at the gallery
If for no other reason, Lucid Dream could be an album cover for Beyoncé. Like the contrast between the bright yellow of the dress and the deep blue of the bushes, her music contrasting between the emotion of the lyrics and vibrancy of the beats. She has a dreaminess to her aesthetic, but it does not lack in any boldness. This piece reflects her beauty and boldness as well as her independence and dreamyness.

Justin and Hailey Bieber + Hunt Slonem

Untitled , Oil and Acrylic on Diamond Dust, 10 x 8 in, Inquire for pricing, Available at the gallery
Justin Bieber has been known for his way paving fashion choices from the beginning of his career and Hailey, being a model, has always been on the frontlines of fashion movements. Their clothes are vintage inspired and trendy as well as funky and playful to match their playful relationship. Hunt Slonem’s bunnies are the perfect addition to their home because they are a reflection of their spunk as well as being fashion forward. Hunt is known for his eccentric pieces and prestige; the perfect fit.

Lizzo + Kristi Kohut

Butterfly Blooming (5/10), Mixed Media, 38 x 38 in, $3775 ($377.5/mo), Available at the gallery
Lizzo is bold and bright and beautiful and, quite frankly, Kristi Kohut’s Blooming could not be a better fit. Lizzo is not afraid to be herself, Kristi’s piece is vibrant and I can just see this piece next to Lizzo’s vanity. It is feminine and unapologetic and is an exquisite reflection of both her personality and music.

Harry Styles + Marcy Cook

Harry Styles + Marcy Cook
Meadow, Mixed Media, 40 x 40 in, $2800 ($280/mo), Available at the gallery
Harry Styles is unapologetically himself. He is bold in his fashion and often sports a vintage and earthy motif with floral shirts and bright colored suits. Even his tattoos reflect this motif; always on brand. His music is often beachy and easy-listening but has a bit of edginess. Marcy Cooks flowers are soft and easy to look at but has an edgy side; the literal edges of the images and the hand drawn elements. The light pink of the background is romantic, like much of Harry’s music, and the flowers are soft and dreamy.

Maddie & Tae + Karin Olah

Maddie & Tae + Karin Olah
Little Barn 9, Mixed media with textiles on wood, 8 x 8 in, $300, Available at the gallery
Maybe this one is a little too on the head, but I love the idea that Maddie & Tae would have this gorgeous little barn hanging up in their homes or recording studio! Karin Olah works in the feeling of memories as well as a tie to home. I couldn’t think of a better description of country music; tugging on your heartstrings while reminding you of where you came from. This piece, specifically, has a beautiful combination of the earthy greens of the rolling hills and the bright pinks of the sun setting on the dreamy field. This really reflects the combination of country and pop that Maddie & Tae are known for, as well as showing off both sides of them —spunky and girly as well as country queens.
