We recently purchased our new working table from CB2—big fans over here.

And as we were browsing their collection, we couldn’t help but notice their elaborate vignettes—with bare walls. Not every page, but a good majority, was needing that extra splash of color through original artwork.

After flipping through the October look book, here’s a few artwork suggestions that complement CB2’s contemporary aesthetic. It’s far too easy for a client to think that an industrial, modern room is better off without artwork. Just like every other decor style, there are artwork choices that naturally add interest and enhance the stylized room.

+ Jehra Patrick

Jehra Patrick, Old Masters, Flemish 1929 (Van Goyan/de Heere), 2012, Inkjet Print, 50 x 40 x 3 in, $3,800.00 ($380/mo)

With CB2's emphasis on dramatic contrast, original artwork is the perfect way to bring in some color and texture. The artwork choices can mimic the room's drama while bringing a lighter feel to the space.
