When it comes to being “match-matchy” with your art, we have a few helpful rules. We definitely believe in the power of cohesion when it comes to the art in your home. It doesn’t have to perfectly match color or texture, but in general, you can incorporate all types of mediums and styles while seeing a continued thread throughout the pieces.
We work hard to include artists in our gallery roster that all work well together—they’re all different artists from different backgrounds with different mediums—but the aesthetic and vibe reflect one another. Just as we’ve selected these artists in our gallery, you can do the same with the artwork in your home.
And to answer the “one room, one artist” question—yes, you can definitely also highlight just one artist with multiple pieces in the same space. Depending on the artist, many have enough variety in their medium that they can complement each other perfectly, while being different enough. A great example of this tactic is
Logan Ledford! We love this collection together in one room.
