Our mantra is that we believe in art for everyone. And we really do. We think a lot about how we can setup the gallery, communicate on social and interact one-on-one with people in a way that communicates art is approachable. With all that in mind, we’ve created coloring pages from some of our represented artists for any younger ones who come through the gallery and may not be so engaged with the art on the walls. We can’t blame them. But, we still encourage their engagement with art!

PBS.com conducted a study of the importance of art in child development and they came to the conclusion that, “Teaching children to recognize the choices an artist or designer makes in portraying a subject helps kids understand the concept that what they see may be someone’s interpretation of reality.”

So, the next time you stop by the gallery with your mini-me, ask for a coloring page and crayons!
