Calling all mural artists!

No matter your location, we invite artists to apply for our most recent mural RFP!

We are wanting to make a great photo op in Des Moines in the pedestrian tunnel under the Women of Achievement Bridge near the Robert D. Ray Asian Gardens pagoda. This tunnel is an active area for graffiti and we would like to deter that by using a beautiful mural. The mural should create the feel of community and emulate unity, love and diversity by using bright colors and unique visuals. Operation Downtown is the proud sponsor of this mural project and we are excited to work alongside them to make Des Moines beautiful and filled with art!

The submission deadline is Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at 5:00pm. If you have any questions regarding the RFP, please email us at hello@lizlidgett.com. We will need to receive a brief bio about you, your background, and why you are a good fit for this project, a page including 3-5 artwork photographs and descriptions of your past work and your name, phone number, email, and 2 references with contact info.
